Google Stadia: Price, release date and games

Google has just finished its Stadia conference and we have learned many things, including pricing and how to use this new cloud gaming solution.

To be able to use Google Stadia as soon as it's released, you'll need to pre-order the Founder's Edition. This pack, costs €129.00 before tax, will benefit from 3 months of Stadia Pro subscriptions, a three-month Buddy Pass to offer to a friend, an exclusive blue night controller, and a Chromecast Ultra. This allows you to send the picture to your TV, or any other screen. This pack also allows you to get the game Destiny 2: The Collection.

Google has announced two subscription offers:

• Stadia Pro: with 4K resolution, 60 FPS, and 5.1 surround sound. Google will offer free games, like a PS + subscription or Games with Gold, as well as discounts on many games. You will also be able to buy your own games. Stadia Pro will cost € 9.99 per month. A bitrate of 35 Mbps is recommended to get the 4K resolution.

• Stadia Base: The second offer available next year will allow you to use the streaming platform for free. The games can be purchased independently via the Stadia Library and will run up to 1080p and 60 FPS. A bitrate of 20Mbps is recommended for this solution, or 10Mbps for 720p.

• Darksiders Genesis

• Destiny 2 : The Collection
