Microsoft has unveiled the PC configurations needed to run Sea of Thieves:
Minimum (720p - 30fps):
- CPU: Intel Q9450 or AMD Phenom II X6
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 or AMD Radeon 7750
- RAM: 4 Go
- HDD: 60 Go
- OS: Microsoft Windows 10
Recommended (1080p - 60 fps):
- CPU: Intel Core i5 4590 or AMD FX-8150
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 770 or AMD R9 380X
- RAM: 8 Go
- HDD: 60 Go
- OS: Microsoft Windows 10
4K - 30fps:
- CPU: Intel Core i5 4690 or AMD FX-8150
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 or AMD RX Vega 56
- RAM: 16 Go
- HDD: 60 Go
- OS: Microsoft Windows 10
4K - 60fps:
- CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080Ti or AMD RX Vega 64
- RAM: 16 Go
- HDD: 60 Go
- OS: Microsoft Windows 10
The minimum configuration required is very light to run the game. However, it becomes more difficult to increase the visual quality of the game, especially because of GPU requirement.
The game will release on March 20th on PC and Xbox One
